These terms cover your use of VVC Skald Bot ("the bot"), a free Discord bot providing Twitch and YouTube live announcements, free-game alerts, reaction roles, and welcome messages. By adding the bot to a Discord server or using its dashboard, you agree to these terms.
The bot is provided free of charge. There are no paid tiers, premium features, or subscriptions — every feature described in the bot's documentation is available to every server it's added to, with no artificial limits on how many streamers, channels, or roles you configure.
The bot is self-hosted and run by an individual, not a company. It's provided on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed uptime. It may go offline for maintenance, updates, or any other reason without notice.
Use of the bot is subject to Discord's own Terms of Service, including its age requirements. If you're not eligible to use Discord, you're not eligible to use this bot.
Server administrators who configure the bot are responsible for:
You may not use the bot to violate Discord's Terms of Service, to harass or abuse others, or to attempt to disrupt, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to the bot or the systems it runs on.
The bot retrieves publicly available information from Twitch, YouTube, Epic Games Store, GamerPower, and Discord's own APIs in order to function. The bot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Because free-game and giveaway information is sourced from third parties, the bot can't guarantee its accuracy or timeliness.
The bot is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. The operator makes no guarantees about the bot's availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose, and isn't liable for any damages arising from its use or unavailability.
Features, and these terms, may change at any time. Significant changes will be noted where practical (e.g. an announcement in the bot's support server), but continued use of the bot after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Server admins can remove the bot from their server at any time. The operator may also discontinue the service, or stop supporting a particular server, at any time. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to a server's data when the bot is removed.
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway.
